The camel safari with dance & music is ideal for those who want to delve into the rich cultural heritage of Jaisalmer and experience a camel ride into the desert.

The camel safari starts from our office at Hotel Murad Haveli in Jaisalmer at around 1:30 pm or we will pick you from your hotel within the city. The safari begins with a jeep ride towards the outskirts of the town into the Thar Desert. On the way to the camel point, you will visit Kuldhara which is a popular haunted village that was abandoned by its inhabitants around the 13th century in order to save the honour of a Paliwal Brahmin girl from a noble called Salim Singh. You will also be visiting a small natural oasis which serves the villagers as well as the local wildlife.

Later you will reach the camel point where you will mount on a clean and friendly camel who will take you on a ride further into the desert. On reaching the dunes, you may sit, relax and delve into the enchanting sunset. After this you will be taken to our campsite where you will be greeted with a warm welcome in a traditional style. Then you will be served snacks and tea/coffee which will be followed by a local cultural dance & music programme. After the program, you may have your dinner and then proceed back to Jaisalmer in a jeep with an unforgettable experience.
