The overnight camel safari is the most popular safari and is ideal for those who are looking to have a first-hand experience of living the life in the Thar Desert.

The camel safari starts from our office at Hotel Murad Haveli in Jaisalmer at around 1:30 pm or we will pick you from your hotel within the city. The safari begins with a jeep ride towards Kuldhara which is a popular haunted village that once used to be the abode of Paliwal Brahmins who abandoned it overnight to save the honour and dignity of a brahmin girl from a noble called Salim Singh. After Kuldhara, you will also be visiting a natural oasis which quenches the thirst and the needs of the local villagers and the local wildlife.

After this you will head towards the camel point where you will mount on a clean and friendly camel who will take you on a ride further into the desert. On reaching the dunes, you may sit, relax and delve into the enchanting sunset. Later, you may have your dinner which will be freshly prepared on firewood. After dinner, you may rest in a warm & cozy bedding overlooking the starlit sky above.

We suggest that you wake up a bit early to witness a mesmerizing sunrise which will be followed by a delicious & healthy breakfast. Post breakfast, you will mount on your camels again and ride up to the jeep point from where you will proceed back to Jaisalmer in a jeep with sweet unforgettable memories.
