The sunset camel safari is ideal for those who want to witness a magical sunset and experience a camel ride into the desert within a short span of time.

The camel safari starts from our office at Hotel Murad Haveli in Jaisalmer at around 1:30 pm or we will pick you from your hotel within the city. The safari begins with a jeep ride towards the outskirts of the town into the Thar Desert. On the way to the camel point, you will visit Kuldhara which is a popular haunted village that was abandoned by its inhabitants around the 13th century in order to save the honour of a Paliwal Brahmin girl from a noble called Salim Singh. You will also be visiting a small natural oasis which serves the villagers as well as the local wildlife.

Later you will reach the camel point where you will mount on a clean and friendly camel who will take you on a ride further into the desert. On reaching the dunes, you may sit, relax and delve into the enchanting sunset. Later, you may have your dinner which will be freshly prepared on firewood. After dinner, you will proceed back to Jaisalmer in a jeep with sweet profound memories.
